Task: Migrate legacy ASP.NET web applications to ASP.NET Core and perform refactoring for performance, security hardening, and maintainability. Integrate REST APIs and external services, update the data stack and mapping (EF Core or SQL queries), and set up and maintain build and deployment pipelines. About You: You are an experienced .NET developer with strong C# skills and hands-on experience in ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core (MVC, Web API, middleware). You know relational databases such as SQL Server and are familiar with Entity Framework Core or similar ORMs. Experience with Git, containerization (Docker), authentication (JWT/ASP.NET Identity), and NoSQL technologies is a plus. You can work remotely and join periodic onsite meetings near Rome when required.
